1. Information We Collect

• Account info: email, nickname, optional name, country, preferred language.
• Content you create: posts, comments, messages, attachments.
• Technical data: IP address, browser, device, log timestamps.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate JEEGU (authentication, displaying content, notifications).
• To translate content. Posts and comments are sent to Google's Gemini API for machine translation. Translated text is cached in our database.
• To send transactional email (verification, password reset).
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.

3. Third-Party Services

• Google Gemini — AI translation. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Cloudflare R2 — file storage.
• Vercel / Railway — application hosting.

4. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data. Email innous@kakao.com.

5. Data Retention

Soft-deleted content is retained for up to 30 days for moderation and abuse review, then permanently deleted. Account deletion removes personal data within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies / localStorage required for authentication and UI preferences (language, theme). No third-party tracking.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Traffic is served over HTTPS. JWT tokens are stored in client-side storage and rotated on logout.
